Endgame is regarded as a milestone in the evolution of Western theatre at the crossroads of modernism and postmodernism. It depicts the life of four people who survived a catastrophe and are stranded in a cellar: one is blind and incapable of walking; one is able to stagger but unable to sit down; and a couple without feet live in two ash-bins. Struggling in their refuge, they live on their conversation and the tense relationship between the master in the group and his servant. As the situation worsens and the relationships reach the verge of breakdown, how far can they go?
